Welcome to Our School
Welcome to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School. We are a parish school that assists parents with the education and formation of their children in Truth, Goodness, and Beauty.
In our Christ-centered environment, we provide formative faith lessons and experiences, pursue academic excellence, participate in the sacramental life and devotions of the Catholic Church, offer engaging student activities, and give students opportunities for growth in virtue and character. It is through this educational plan that students are formed spiritually, intellectually, morally, and physically as they are prepared for high school and grow into disciples of Christ who are ready to respond to God’s call.
It is our vocation to cultivate faith, virtue, and wisdom in children by educating the whole child. We seek to develop students into lifelong learners who wonder and are curious about the world; know how to engage it; think critically by analyzing, evaluating, and synthesizing prior knowledge with new discoveries; problem solve; make sound judgments; and then communicate these deeper understandings in a persuasive and beautiful manner.
To facilitate this, we place a priority on encounters, on the students’ engagement with and awareness of the created world around them. It is through encounters that one experiences not just the true ideas or concepts contained in academic studies but, more importantly, that one experiences these truths as present, living, and actually incarnate in the real, natural world. This is part of what it means to be a Catholic school that educates the whole child—a Catholic school that offers an incarnational education respective of what it means to be human—because it is rooted in the One who reveals to us how to be human: the Incarnate God, our Lord Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh (Gaudium et spes, 22).
Through these encounters, children are more likely to grow in their friendship with Christ and thus in their faith. As a result, they will look at the world differently, look at each other differently, even look at themselves differently. They will deepen in their experiences and understanding of God. They will become intentional about their relationship with and discipleship in Christ, becoming intentional disciples of Christ—believers who are aware and freely intending to follow the Lord wherever He goes. They will follow and find Him in the liturgical life of the Church, where He is fully and uniquely present in the Eucharist; in the life of their domestic church, the family; in the life of the broader Church and parish community; and in the continued encounters with others since they, too, bear the image of God.
This new outlook and vision will open up a whole new realm of possibilities for life and for finding purpose in it. In fact, everything will become transformed—even transfigured, one might say—as the students will see that all of creation is designed with an order that evokes the presence of God and His call to you and me, for as Pope Benedict XVI said,
Being Christian is not the result of an ethical choice or a lofty idea,
but the encounter with an event, a person,
which gives life a new horizon and a decisive direction.

This is the Catholic education we aim to offer your family here at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School. It is an education where students are formed spiritually, intellectually, morally, and physically—an education where they have the foundations for success and for achieving great things. However, we do not do this alone. We do this in cooperation with the Holy Spirit, in fidelity to the Catholic Church, and in partnership with you, the primary educators of your children.
We invite you to come and see.
